1. You must not get married because of lust.
2. Infatuation (Love at first sight- sudden love).
3. Just liking the idea of marriage. It's just joining the
Army because you like the uniform. Nobody
joins the army with a promise that he
wouldn't go to war.
4. The fear of remaining unmarried (friends are all married;
my sisters are all married, etc).
5. Pressure (Parents, friends, etc)
6. Because you want to escape being jilted (if he is the
right man/woman, he or she would not jilt
you).
7. Getting married for money (money does not guarantee a
successful marriage at all).
8. Using marriage as an escape route, (" I am tired of
mom and dad").
9. Having pity... (Feeling sorry for the man or the woman,
don't build love on sympathy).
10. Foolish Expectation... (Marrying an unbeliever and
expecting him/her to change in the course of
marriage, if they don't change
before you marry them).
11. Marrying for beauty or handsomeness... (The best time to
access a woman properly is absolutely
when she wakes up in the morning)
12. Accidental
discharge PREGNANCY! (Just because you become pregnant along the line does
not
mean you have to bury your destiny there).
13. Tribal or religion connections. (I must marry someone
from my town and same religion
or religious denomination...etc).
14. To satisfy your parents.
15. Marry to hurt your parent.
I love this post..it is absolutely true and sad to say people do get married for these reasons...even when it sounds ridiculous to us.
ReplyDeleteYea yea, marriage for goodness being is for life, once you are in, u are in and their is no two ways about that,when you go into marriage with good intentions, u enjoy it but when u move into it with wrong reason, u gat to suffer it cus is not gotta at all, so pals let's be carefull with this union called marriage, it is not a child's play, I love this post ok, keep it up dearie ,* Dinma*
